The experimental band EKKO III dedicated themselves to improvisation on their debut album "Wired Triad". The raw material on it literally sprang from a single continuous musical train of thought, created and recorded at the same time. Poured into twelve distinct tunes by the band's visionary producer and bassist Jojo Lackner, Gerald Gradwohl's incisive guitar motifs and Walter Sitz’ powerful drumming merge into a progressive, jazz-based sound that also touches upon funk, rock and electronic-influenced music. With Wired Triad, the forward-thinking collective EKKO III has successfully preserved the moment - sometimes simple, sometimes furious - and beautifully entices the listener to relive it over and over again.
